These are a pair of custom made gates for a driveway enclosing the rear garden. The gates themselves measured a whopping 144" in width and 60" in height, made from best unsorted Pine.... frame, ledged and braced design with tounge and grooved match boards.
Four 3ft heavy duty hinges, swivel hasp & staple and two 14" monkey bolts with rollers are what hold these monster gates in place!
Finished with three coats of 5 year guarenteed weatherproof Oak stain.
These were an absolute pleasure to design and make for a lovely couple.

My husband and I decided to replace our shared drive gates after 20 years. We knew this was not going to be cheap as we wanted the best wood and a specific design and locks. We contacted Darren and were given an estimate. When paying out what is a large sum of money we were slightly worried. Our worries were unfounded. Darren designed us the most beautiful gates. The workmanship that went into them was just absolutely amazing. We are very happy. Beautifully made, amazing craftmanship and a very reliable guy.
